Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their full potential by providing speech-language therapy services within a supportive school environment. As a dedicated SLP on a contract assignment, you'll collaborate with educational teams and families to help children build essential communication skills. Your expertise will be central in designing individualized treatment plans and tracking student progress as part of an engaged and caring community.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current, valid SLP license in Connecticut (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience delivering speech and language services within school settings Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to assess student needs and implement evidence-based interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) for students with speech/language needs Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students' progress Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, evaluations, and progress Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP team discussions Provide resources and training to staff as needed to foster supportive learning environments This contract opportunity places you in an impactful role where your specialized skills make lasting differences in students' school experiences.
