Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract position is ideal for professionals who thrive in educational environments and are passionate about supporting the communication needs of general education students. With a September start, you'll enjoy the chance to make a lasting difference throughout the upcoming school year. The role is based in the greater Waterbury, CT area.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license for the state of Connecticut ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in school settings supporting the gen ed population Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans for a range of needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students in the general education population Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student success Document sessions, maintain detailed records, and contribute to IEP meetings Serve as a dedicated resource for communication strategies within the school community Empower students to achieve their academic and social goals through targeted interventions Enjoy a rewarding role that allows you to directly impact students' growth while working in a collaborative environment.
