Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover a maternity leave from April 15 to June 11, serving students in grades 4-8. This contract role is based in Middletown, CT, and involves supporting students at intermediate and middle school levels.
Responsibilities include:
Providing speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting Assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintaining detailed records and progress notes Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is required Experience working in schools, preferably with upper elementary and middle school populations Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This role is ideal for candidates with school-based SLP experience looking for a short-term contract assignment.
