Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting located in Middletown, CT. This position involves working with a high school caseload from now through the end of the school year, providing critical speech and language support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to high school students. Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, addressing diverse communication needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation of all therapy sessions and student progress. Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a high school setting. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while providing high-quality care. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Position Details:
Contract role starting immediately and continuing through the end of the school year. Part-time schedule totaling 25.5 hours per week.Location:
