Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity where your expertise in speech-language pathology transforms lives every day. This long-term substitute position begins as soon as possible and extends through November 2026, including an Extended School Year (ESY) assignment from July 1 to July 24, and a school-year commitment from August 12 to November 1, 2026. You'll work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM during ESY, and from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM for the regular school year. All services are based at a single, well-supported location accommodating two distinct programs: one for preK-8 students, and another for individuals aged 9 to 22. Expect a manageable caseload with a focus on students who have intensive needs, particularly those with autism and behavioral challenges. You will collaborate closely with a highly supportive team that includes six other SLPs and numerous behavioral therapists.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience working with school-aged children and young adults Skills in addressing needs of students with autism and behavioral challenges Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and communication skills
