Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real difference in early childhood education by supporting preschoolers as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment. Step into a full-time, contract opportunity working with a focused caseload of 13 children ages 3-4, all at a single supportive location conveniently situated near Stamford, CT. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility Experience in school-based, pediatric, or preschool SLP settings preferred Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates Comfortable providing both onsite and teletherapy services Strong skills in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 13 preschool students (ages 3-4) Provide three days per week of direct therapy, using a variety of age-appropriate techniques Conduct initial speech and language evaluations for new students, two days per week Set and monitor students' speech/language goals, documenting progress as required Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans Maintain timely records and effectively communicate student needs to relevant staff Utilize the dedicated therapy space to ensure an effective, child-focused environment This is a fantastic chance to work through the end of the school year (ASAP-EOSY) in a welcoming educational setting, empowering young children at a key stage in their learning and growth.
