May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

This contract position caters to professionals passionate about delivering supportive, tailored speech and language services to K-12 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate and deliver services in both languages. Previous experience in educational settings or with pediatric populations, preferably ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with a collaborative, student-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention services for K-12 students with speech, language, and communication needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, administrators, and other school professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Maintain accurate, detailed records on student progress, and participate in multi-disciplinary and parent meetings. Use culturally competent and evidence-based practices to support a diverse student population. Offer consultative services and professional development to school staff regarding language and communication supports.
