Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech and language support within an educational setting. This contract role places you in a collaborative environment alongside dedicated educators and support staff, working together to ensure every student has the resources and encouragement they need to achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience working in a school setting highly valued Strong ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Effective organizational and time management abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech and language abilities using standardized tools Develop and implement personalized treatment plans Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs Conduct therapy sessions both individually and in groups Maintain accurate and timely records for compliance and reporting Consult with teachers and parents, offering strategies for classroom and home support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to interdisciplinary teams
