Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist position based in Willimantic, CT, serving an elementary school environment from PreK through 8th grade. The position runs on a contract basis starting August 18, 2026, and concludes June 10, 2027, with a workweek of 35 hours (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM). Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 40 to 50 students, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering speech and language interventions tailored to each student's needs. Collaboration with teachers and other professionals is key to supporting student progress.
Qualifications:
Valid Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will also be considered Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not mandatory Experience working with elementary-aged students in school settings is beneficial The position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in student communication development within a supportive school environment.
