Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students and collaborating with a dedicated educational team. This full-time position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a tangible difference in children's lives, and is open to eligible travelers with tax-free stipends available. The role is located near Bear, DE, and offers a competitive pay range of $45-$55 per hour, based on experience and education.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license in Delaware (DE SLP License required) Prior experience as a school-based SLP is strongly preferred Ability to thrive in a collaborative, student-focused environment American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory Strong communication and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual settings Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress in the school environment Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and student progress Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support strategies Enjoy a well-rounded benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with matching, and weekly pay.
