9595981-19809 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication goals both in school and at home. This contract opportunity calls for a Speech Language Pathologist who enjoys variety in their workweek, splitting time between a school setting and providing essential speech services to students who are medically homebound. The start date is August 25, 2026, continuing through June 8, 2027, offering flexible options for full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time schedules, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
Active Delaware SLP license (please submit with your application) CCC-SLP certification required Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Comfortable adapting to changing caseloads and environments Compassionate approach to working with diverse student populations, including medically homebound youth Superior communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Resume submission required alongside license information
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in a school building as well as in homebound settings Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families Modify interventions and schedules as needed to best serve a fluctuating caseload Maintain thorough and timely documentation compliant with school and state standards Participate in meetings and contribute insights on student progress and recommendations This flexible contract allows you to bring your expertise to a setting where your skills are appreciated and deeply impactful. The caseload varies throughout the year, and when not assigned to homebound support, youll serve students at a designated school site.
