Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role serving K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow in a welcoming school environment near Georgetown, DE. This contract opportunity is open to both SLPs with completed CCCs and Clinical Fellows, offering flexibility with either full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time schedules. The position spans from August 19, 2026, through June 8, 2027. Ideal candidates will have the expertise and heart to support young learners' communication needs, from early intervention through high school. Expect to collaborate with fellow professionals and families to have a lasting, positive impact on student success and development.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Eligible for, or holder of, Delaware state SLP license SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted Previous school-based experience, particularly with moderate to severe needs, highly valued Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills Adaptable, with excellent problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver speech-language therapy for diverse student populations Address augmentative and assistive technology, social communication, articulation, voice, oral-motor skills, feeding, and language delays Conduct diagnostic and assessment testing, producing insightful evaluation reports Develop, implement, and review IEP objectives Maintain open communication with parents and team members Comfortably support early childhood/early intervention cases As a valued speech-language specialist, you'll benefit from a supportive, engaged team and enriching professional environment.
