Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your passion for supporting young minds to an engaging school-based role for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated SLP or CFY who is eager to help students from kindergarten through 12th grade thrive. Flexible scheduling is available, with both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time options to suit your lifestyle, making it convenient to balance work and personal commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of speech-language therapy, encompassing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as needed. Prepare thorough, insightful reports based on assessments and classroom observations. Engage confidently with early intervention students, tailoring approaches as needed. Develop and track IEP objectives, ensuring student progress is clearly documented. Partner with parents and team members to communicate progress, identify support areas, and create a collaborative, student-focused environment.
Qualifications:
Eligible for or currently hold a Delaware state license. SLP - CCC or CFY welcomed. Experience with moderate to severe student populations is valued. Outstanding communication capabilities and collaborative spirit. Flexible, solution-oriented mindset.
