Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity where your expertise as an SLP or Clinical Fellow will make a lasting impact on students from kindergarten through age 22. This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs, including moderate to severe disabilities. Your work will be essential in helping students access education and develop vital communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for a Delaware state SLP license SLP-CCC or CFY candidates welcome to apply Autism Specialist experience or familiarity with assistive technology, augmentative/alternative communication, and working with school-aged populations is advantageous Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Comfort and compassion when working with students aged 2-22 with diverse physical and developmental needs Flexible, solutions-oriented mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy and plan interventions for areas such as social/pragmatic language, articulation, voice, oral-motor skills, feeding, receptive and expressive language, and technology supports Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluation assessments for referred students Write clear and comprehensive reporting based on observations and testing Develop and maintain IEP objectives tailored to each student Collaborate actively with families, educators, and support staff to ensure optimal student outcomes Foster a supportive environment where students can progress at their own pace
