Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students in the Millsboro, DE area as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity spans two days per week, working with a vibrant K-6th grade population from late August through the end of the school year. Support a growing caseload while collaborating with education professionals who value your expertise.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Delaware licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Consideration given to SLPAs and Clinical Fellows with relevant school-based experience Previous experience supporting K-6 students in academic settings is highly valued Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-6 students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEP goals Utilize evidence-based practices and individualized interventions Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Contribute to a team-focused, student-centered approach that adapts to the evolving needs of the population Participate in relevant professional development and school meetings as needed This role is a fantastic fit for someone seeking a flexible part-time position while gaining experience in a school-based setting.
