Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Milton, DE, providing support to students from kindergarten through 6th grade. This contract role involves delivering direct speech-language services two full days per week, with an additional half-day dedicated to meetings and testing, totaling 2.5 days weekly. The caseload is expanding, offering opportunities for professional growth and impact within the school setting. Responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, delivering individualized intervention plans, collaborating with educational staff, and participating in meetings to support student progress. This position is primarily in-person initially, with consideration for virtual service delivery starting in August. Preferred qualifications include certification as an SLP (CCC or school-based), although candidates with SLPA credentials or Speech-Language Pathology CFs with relevant school experience will also be considered. Strong communication skills and adaptability to a growing caseload are essential.
