Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the summer school session in Odessa, DE. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, providing dedicated professionals with a meaningful way to impact student communication and language development in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' goals Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and generalization of skills Maintain accurate documentation and data tracking for therapy sessions and student outcomes Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
Qualifications:
Valid Delaware license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with students, families, and school staff Ability to tailor therapy plans based on students' unique needs and progress
