Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Smyrna, DE, within a school setting. This contract role involves providing specialized speech therapy services, conducting evaluations, and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech therapy services to students. Complete thorough speech and language evaluations. Develop and write IEPs to address student needs. Attend team meetings to discuss student progress and goals. Collect and maintain progress monitoring data. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records.Qualifications and Experience:
Active Delaware licensure/certification as an SLP is required. Proven experience in school-based speech therapy. Demonstrated ability to conduct evaluations and write IEPs. Strong understanding of grade-level speech and language needs. Familiarity with software systems such as Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP.Note:
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not being considered for this role.Additional Details:
Full-time contract position | 37.5 hours/week | Monday to Friday.Location:
