Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' communication development across ages from kindergarten through 22 years old. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a skilled SLP (CCC or CFY) eager to join a dedicated school-based team. With a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse needs, including those with moderate to severe disabilities. Bring your expertise to a dynamic educational environment where you'll contribute to comprehensive speech-language therapy services and collaborate closely with colleagues and families. This position offers a consistent schedule, opportunities to grow professionally, and the chance to support students in achieving their communication and academic goals.
Role Highlights:
Collaborate in planning and implementing speech-language therapy for students aged 2 to 22 years Address a variety of needs: assistive technology, augmentative communication, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, social language, and language delays Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments, providing clear and insightful reports Develop and monitor IEP objectives, supporting students' continued growth Partner with parents and staff to discuss progress and create effective strategies Work flexibly and creatively, supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities
Who We're Looking For:
Hold or be eligible for a Delaware state SLP license (CFY applicants welcomed!) Experience with moderate to severe disabilities is a plus Strong communicator with collaborative problem-solving skills Flexible, approachable, and eager to work in a multidisciplinary setting
