Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a school setting located in Wilmington, DE. This contract position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, supporting both preschool and elementary school students.
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to preschool and elementary school children in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs). Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress for students requiring speech and language support. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student communication development. Utilize teletherapy methods when appropriate to enhance access and continuity of care. Maintain compliance with Delaware state licensing requirements and ethical standards.Qualifications:
Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school-based settings. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and pediatric speech-language pathology practices. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.Benefits:
