A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Alachua County, Florida for a part-time school-based role! Let's make a meaningful impact on every child's journey! Job opportunities are also available State-wide and Nation-wide! Growth within the company is available and encouraged!
Setting:
School-Based Services (Pediatric) Exclusive school placement (no travel required)
Hours:
Times / Schedule vary and school is flexible Compensation for the full scheduled day, including prep time, note time, and lunch. 5-10 students (30 minute sessions each)
Responsibilities:
Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students. Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students. Providing therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills. Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with regulations.
Requirements :
Speech Language Pathology License FLDOE Certification
ASHA CCC-SLP
