Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Provide impactful speech-language services in a dynamic educational setting for the upcoming school year. This onsite, part-time contract role focuses on supporting students in grades 7 through 12, beginning in August for the 2026/2027 academic term.
Required Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status Experience with school-based caseloads, particularly with adolescents and upper-grade students Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance standards Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Organizational abilities to manage scheduling, documentation, and therapy planning
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades 7-12 Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs, both individual and group Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administration, and families to ensure student success Maintain accurate documentation and ongoing progress notes in accordance with district and state requirements Offer consultation and support for staff regarding speech-language interventions and classroom strategies
