Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity to support K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract position begins in August 2026 and ends in May 2027, serving a diverse student population and collaborating closely with educators and families to ensure every learner's voice is heard and understood.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Experience in a school-based environment preferred Accomplished in designing, implementing, and evaluating speech and language therapy plans for K-12 students Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work alongside teachers, administrators, and family members Ability to adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students across various age groups and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough screenings and evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and deliver individualized treatment strategies aligned to each student's IEP goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress, evaluations, and meetings Consult with faculty and families to offer training, resources, and progress updates Engage actively in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student achievement Create a positive, encouraging environment that supports students' communication growth This is your chance to make a lasting impact while working in a supportive educational community.
