Up to $58 per hour Join Our Team! Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will help residents regain and enhance their communication and swallowing abilities, improving their overall quality of life. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop individualized therapy programs, and support residents and their families throughout the rehabilitation process. Key Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech and language therapy programs. Conduct therapy sessions and adapt treatment plans to meet each resident's needs. Coordinate and provide instruction on the use of adaptive communication devices. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to design and implement effective therapy plans. Supervise therapy assistants or supportive staff and provide training as needed. Participate in resident care conferences and regularly assess and document progress. Requirements ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist. Active Florida SLP license (or eligible for licensure). Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) preferred or eligibility required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for providing high-quality resident-centered care.
