What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings is highly valued Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Adaptable and proactive in supporting diverse student populationsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals Provide direct and consultative services to students individually and in small group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to ensure holistic student support Maintain accurate, compliant records of evaluations, progress reports, and session notes Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Engage in ongoing professional growth activities to enhance SLP best practicesBenefits & Perks:
