Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting young learners in an engaging elementary school environment near Bushnell, FL. This part-time position focuses on providing speech and language services to students at the elementary level, making a real difference in their academic and personal development. You'll work three days a week, totaling 24 hours per week, from August 10th through the end of the school year—offering a fulfilling opportunity with meaningful work-life balance.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus, but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to foster student success Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop individualized speech and language plans Maintain accurate records of services and progress notes Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences as needed Utilize creative and evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse learners
