School Speech and Language Pathologist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a fulfilling role within a school setting starting in August and continuing through the end of the school year. Located in Bushnell, FL, this position offers the chance to support students at an elementary school with a manageable caseload and a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate closely with two other SLPs to share strategies and support across the caseload. Utilize a dedicated therapy space to conduct sessions efficiently and effectively. Maintain accurate records and documentation to track student progress and comply with school guidelines.

Qualifications:

Valid SLP certification (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY credentials accepted). Experience working within school environments preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and educational staff. Ability to manage a mid-sized caseload while maintaining high-quality services. Organized and detail-oriented approach to managing therapy schedules and records.
