Job Description

Position Overview This position is an exciting opportunity to grow as a professional and exercise your clinical skills in a variety of ways. The perfect candidate would have experience in speech sound disorders, late talking toddlers, social communication disorders, language-based learning disabilities, Autism, and fluency. The right person will have a strong work ethic, be highly organized, and willing to go above and beyond for our amazing clients and families. This person will have the drive to learn and loves to challenge their clinical skills.
Work responsibilities include:
Proper administration and analysis of pediatric speech and language assessments Develop, oversee, and implement the client's Plan of Care (POC) Review, analyze data, observe program implementation and make necessary changes in client's POC Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and educational professionals in order to share information and expertise associated with client success Develop, oversee and implement social, literacy, and/or language groups Collect, maintain and evaluate data on each client's progress Communicate openly and effectively with parents and supervisory staff Help cover treatment sessions, when needed Complete other job-related duties and special assignments as directed Conduct training workshops for families and/or schools Participate in marketing events to promote
Bilingual Speech Therapy of Clearwater Required Education/Certification:
Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Speech and Language Pathology, MS or MA Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA Florida state license for Speech-Language Pathology (current and active)
Preferred:
Bilingual (Spanish) Minimum of 1 year of pediatric services experience. CFY/SLP are encouraged to apply as well.
