Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Energize your career by supporting middle and high school students' communication growth in a welcoming educational environment! A contract position is open for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work onsite on a part-time basis with 7th to 12th graders. This fulfilling opportunity begins at the start of the 2026/2027 school year, offering a perfect blend of professional challenge and work-life balance.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in Florida (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Experience working with adolescents in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, team-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades 7-12 Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Track progress and maintain detailed, compliant documentation Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success Provide consultation and strategies for staff and caregivers to facilitate student achievement
