Our approach integrates evidence-based practice with play, sensory regulation, family coaching, and neurodiversity-affirming care. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, empathetic, and engaging Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (English/Spanish) who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential through meaningful relationships and play-based learning. About OAK Therapy We provide speech-language and feeding therapy services to children from birth through adolescence in our beautiful Coral Gables clinic. Our team specializes in supporting children with a variety of communication, feeding, sensory, and developmental needs through individualized, child-centered care. Position Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and feeding evaluations Complete re-evaluations and progress reports Develop individualized treatment plans and goals Provide engaging 1:1 therapy sessions Coach and support parents as active members of the therapeutic process Collaborate with other professionals and team members Maintain timely and accurate documentation Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities What Makes OAK Different Child-led, relationship-based therapy model Neurodiversity-affirming practice Strong emphasis on parent coaching and family involvement Collaborative, supportive team environment Access to mentorship and advanced clinical training Opportunities to grow professionally within the practice Professional Development Opportunities We strongly support clinician growth and provide opportunities for training in: DIRFloortime® / ICDL Hanen® Programs PROMPT® Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) PLAY Project® Feeding Therapy Sensory Regulation Approaches Professional development stipends may be available based on tenure and commitment to the practice.
Qualifications Required:
Florida SLP License, Florida Provisional License, or Florida SLPA License Fluent in English and Spanish Strong pediatric clinical experience Experience working with neurodivergent children Passion for play-based and relationship-based intervention Strong communication and parent coaching skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Preferred:
Experience with feeding therapy Experience with DIRFloortime®, Hanen®, PROMPT®, DTTC, or similar approaches Previous private practice experience Well-seasoned clinician comfortable managing a diverse pediatric caseload Schedule Part-Time Independent Contractor Monday-Friday Afternoon hours: 2:00 PM - 6:45 PM Opportunity for additional hours and growth within the practice Job Type Part-Time, Independent Contractor Location Coral Gables, Florida Join a team that values connection, play, clinical excellence, and family-centered care.
