As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll empower students to communicate effectively and maximize their academic potential while collaborating with a supportive team of educators and specialists.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active or eligibility for Florida SLP license Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Skilled in therapy techniques for school-based settings Excellent communication and organizational abilities Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs Deliver evidence-based therapy services individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations Enjoy the fulfillment of helping young learners achieve their goals while working in a friendly, professional environment.
