SLP Position Details Job Type:

Full-Time Schedule:

Monday-Friday (school hours)

Setting:

School-based Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and screenings Provide individual, small group, or in-class therapy SLP Develop therapy plans and complete progress reports and treatment notes Maintain accurate attendance and service documentation Attend and participate in IEP and 504 meetings Complete eligibility and dismissal paperwork Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and related service providers Participate in RTI activities and approved District in-services Order adaptive equipment and consult with vendors as needed Qualifications Active Florida SLP license - required School-based or pediatric speech therapy experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Speech Therapists play a vital role in ensuring FAPE (Free Appropriate Public Education) , helping students with disabilities succeed academically and prepare for independent living.
