Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This is a contract position for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services within a dynamic school district in Florida. The role involves working across multiple school sites and supporting students in need of speech and language interventions.
Locations and Schedule:
Ormond Beach Elementary School:
3 days per week
Pine Trail Elementary School:
1 day per week
Silver Sands Middle School:
4 days per week (
Note:
Next year, this will transition to a full 5-day position.) The schedule totals 37.5 hours per week, with the contract running through June 5th, 2026.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students in a school setting Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district policies Supervise Clinical Fellows as needed Adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs
Qualifications:
Florida SLP License required CCC-SLP credential preferred Bachelor's degree clinicians may be considered for this year's position if willing to work under a temporary teaching certificate (note: SLPA license holders are not eligible) Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred Ability to work effectively with children and school staff across multiple locations
