Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking contract positions in a dynamic and supportive school setting near Deltona, FL. These positions offer the chance to make a real impact in students' lives while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative educational environment. Openings include full-year placements and maternity leaves spanning a range of elementary, middle, and high school settings. Strong mentorship is available, welcoming both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking supervision. Current needs include several 5-day positions, as well as part-time options, across multiple campuses. Please indicate your site and schedule preferences when expressing interest.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Florida SLP license (CCC required) Experience serving in K-12 school settings preferred Must have hands-on background working with severe-profound populations and utilizing Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills CFs considered with supervision provided; SLPAs and virtual providers are not accepted for these roles
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services aligned with IEP goals in diverse school environments Administer evaluations, develop reports, and participate in eligibility meetings and IEP teams Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes Document progress in accordance with district and state guidelines Support students with complex communication needs, including use of AAC devices
