Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role serving students in the beautiful North Florida Panhandle as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting difference while working full-time throughout the school year. You'll provide onsite assessment, intervention, and support to students ranging from PreK to age 22. Based on your preferences and caseload needs, you may work at a single campus or serve two locations, ensuring varied and meaningful experiences every day.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Active Florida DOH Provisional SLP License (required) Previous school-based SLP experience (strongly preferred) Fingerprints must be on file through the AHCA Clearinghouse, or you'll be required to complete a new background screening Passion and skill for working with children and young adults of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement IEP-driven therapy plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document results, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to all compliance standards Serve as a resource and advocate for effective communication in the school community
