Job Description

THIS IS A PART TIME DAY TIME POSITION AT 25 HOURS.
Kids Aboard Therapy is a business that provides therapy at schools, homes, virtually and at its Davie based clinic. We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist with experience in pediatric setting to work in a private school in North Miami. In this role, you will work with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to develop effective therapy plans tailored to individual needs. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for your patients, particularly in pediatric settings. Therapists will provide treatment to pediatric clients ages 0-21. Must have a Medicaid license. • Flexible part-time or full-time scheduling options • No travel required. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in patients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient development. Provide education and resources to families regarding speech and language development. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations. Participate in early intervention programs for children with speech delays or disorders. Skills Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations. Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and interventions. Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments to identify communication challenges. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care through effective therapy practices. Understanding of early intervention strategies for young children with communication needs. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
