Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity located along Florida's scenic Southeast coast, providing critical support to school-aged students. In this role, you will work on-site as a CCC-SLP, focusing primarily on evaluations and assisting the district in catching up on overdue assessments. Both full-time and part-time placements are available, with assignments spanning one to two schools based on the needs and your availability. You'll primarily serve elementary and K-8 students, including work with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) units and supporting clusters for Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) students. Your expertise in conducting speech and language evaluations—especially for autism—will be essential in making an immediate impact.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP licensure for the state of Florida Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Strong background in completing speech and language evaluations for students with autism Prior school-based experience highly valued Ability to start as soon as credentialing is cleared Must meet fingerprinting requirements (potential for existing fingerprints from DOH to be utilized)
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, with emphasis on students with ASD Collaborate with existing SLP, SLPA, and school staff Ensure timely and accurate completion of required documentation Communicate results and recommendations to educational teams and families Rotate between assigned campuses, focusing on either part-time or full-time coverage as desired Joining this assignment means making a direct difference where your experience is most needed.
