In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and communication disorders across diverse age groups. Your expertise will help clients improve their communication skills, enhance their quality of life, and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions to identify communication challenges. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices. Implement therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and tools to facilitate progress and skill development. Monitor clients' progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate clients and their families on strategies to support communication improvement at home and in daily life. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; Master's degree preferred. Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the appropriate licensing board or authority. Proven experience working with diverse populations across different age groups is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, assessment tools, and evidence-based practices. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships within a multidisciplinary team.
