Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing speech-language pathology services within a supportive school environment for the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract position is based onsite, serving K-12 students with the goal of helping each student excel in communication and reach their fullest potential. You'll collaborate with educators and families to support students' needs through assessment, intervention, and ongoing progress monitoring. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license in the state of Florida (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication difficulties Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy and consultation services for K-12 students Document student progress and maintain appropriate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's academic experience Participate in meetings and provide professional input as required
