Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary students and making a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. This position offers you the chance to support young learners near Groveland, FL, and work collaboratively with dedicated educators in a vibrant elementary school setting. In this part-time opportunity, you'll bring your expertise to Wildwood Elementary three days a week (24 hours per week) from August 10 through the end of the school year. Whether you are an SLP with your CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or completing your CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year), your passion for communication and language development will help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before start date) Experience with school-aged children in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcome Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, families, and students Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans for diverse needs
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary school students Assess student needs and develop individualized goals and evidence-based treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to support student growth Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and school-based initiatives as required Deliver therapy both individually and in small group settings If you're ready to support young learners' communication skills and enrich their educational journey, this contract position offers flexibility and the chance to make a real impact.
