Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist within an elementary school setting near Inverness, FL. This role is perfect for SLPs seeking a dynamic, onsite experience throughout the full school year. With two positions available, you'll be providing essential services to a caseload of 40 students, utilizing your own dedicated therapy space to create a supportive, individualized learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current SLP license, eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) welcome Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates encouraged to apply Background in school-based therapy, especially at the elementary level, is highly desirable Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to perform onsite duties throughout the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Perform speech/language evaluations and progress monitoring Engage with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals Maintain accurate therapy records and required documentation Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams as needed Teach students in your dedicated therapy space, ensuring consistency and privacy
