• Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Speech Language Pathologist to our Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This position opportunity is set to work a PRN , day shift schedule at our Baptist Beaches campus. This position is expected to work at least three shifts per month and participate in team weekend and holiday coverage rotations. This is a PRN opportunity working in an adult acute care setting. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in Modified Barium Swallow Studies in an acute care setting.

Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care Rehab, Job Responsibilities:

Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses. Provides extensive patient/family education. Participates in multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nursing, physicians, dietitians, social services, respiratory, support staff, etc. Works in a fast-paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation skills in the EMR, self-directed, and effective communication skills.

Experience Requirements:

1 or more years Experience working in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies strongly

Preferred Education & Credential Requirements:

Master of Science Or Master of Arts Required Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required from the American Heart Association Required Baptist Beaches provides beaches residents with easy access to comprehensive, high-tech medical and surgical care close to home.
