Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing high-quality speech-language therapy in a dynamic school setting. A prominent district in the Lake Mary, FL area is actively seeking dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join their teams for the upcoming school year. Immediate needs exist for experienced SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs)—supervision for CFs is provided, offering a supportive environment to launch your career. Please note, SLPAs and virtual candidates are not being considered for these openings. Current contract assignments are available at the following school sites for the 2026-2027 school year: Taylor Middle High (Pierson) University High (Orange City) Hinson Middle (Daytona)
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Florida SLP License (required) SLP-CCC preferred; CFs welcome to apply Previous school-based experience a plus, but not mandatory Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered interventions
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned caseload Perform assessments, develop IEP goals, and document all services Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
