Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist/ Speech Therapist•
PER DIEM
(SLP-CCC)
Location:
Lake Wales Care Center , Lake Wales, Florida Lake Wales Care Center is seeking an innovative and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist/Speech Therapist (Per Diem) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapist creates, plans, develops, and implements physical therapy programs for a diverse population of residents. This facility is under new ownership.
Per Diem :
Flexible schedules during week and weekend to accommodate resident population and to allow for a balanced work-life.
Pay:
Excellent Hourly Per Diem Rate based on expereince. Perks and Benefits

  • Supportive Director of Rehabilitation Job Duties
  • Perform screenings and evaluations of residents with cognitive, speech/language and/or swallowing functioning impairments and other conditions, developing and implementing appropriate Speech Therapy plans of care while adhering to federal and state regulations and clinical standards.
  • Delivers skilled speech therapy services with the appropriate medically necessary interventions to improve, maintain or prevent decline with their cognitive, speech/language and/or swallowing functions.
  • Complete comprehensive documentation for resident care including evaluations, progress notes, re-certifications, care plans, standardized test, discharge summaries and billing.
  • Provide consultation and education to residents, families, caregivers, and others to promote quality care and resident outcomes. Job Qualifications
  • Must have or be eligible for Florida Speech Therapy license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in speech therapy
  • All experience levels considered.
