Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic school environment near Lanark Village, FL. This contract opportunity, running from August 3rd, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, offers the chance to make a substantial impact across a varied caseload of approximately 80 students. With a stable 40-hour work week, you'll enjoy the satisfaction of consistent scheduling while providing essential services to help students thrive academically and socially.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure for practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain) Previous school-based experience preferred, but motivated candidates with relevant pediatric or educational backgrounds considered Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans targeting students' speech, language, and communication needs Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to foster student success Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all required reporting and progress monitoring Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies In this role, your expertise will directly support students in achieving their communication goals, making every day meaningful.
