Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist based out of our DLC at PARC, a daycare in which we partnership with, where you will play a vital role in enhancing communication skills and improving the quality of life for young children. This rewarding position involves providing specialized speech therapy services to pediatric patients, focusing on early intervention and developmental milestones. You will work closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, effective care that fosters growth and confidence in children facing speech, language, or swallowing challenges. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing difficulties in pediatric patients. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and developmental stage. Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators to coordinate care strategies. Educate families and caregivers on therapy goals, home exercises, and strategies to support ongoing progress. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and session notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in early intervention programs to support children from infancy through preschool age, ensuring timely developmental support. Eligible to serve as a supervisor to SLPAs as needed Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques specific to children's developmental needs. Familiarity with physiology and anatomy relevant to speech production and swallowing functions. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and interpret medical terminology accurately. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored for young children and their families. Knowledge of early intervention practices to support developmental milestones effectively. Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating caregivers about therapy processes. $47.00 - $56.00 per hour
