    Speech Language Pathologist:
    The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for facilitating the recovery of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive function for the patients who come through our facility. Responsibilities of the
    Speech Language Pathologist:
    Creating, administering and organizing individualized plans of treatment for patients. Instructing clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading and voice improvement. Educating patients and family members about various topics such as communication techniques and strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings. Communicating with the dietary department in regard to rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions. Requirements of the
    Speech Language Pathologist:
    • Current Speech Language Pathologist License in current state.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • At least one (1) year of Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
    • Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
    • Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population
    • Ability to relate and interact positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, family, professional and facility staff.
