Job Summary We are hosting a Speech-Language Pathologist Hiring Event to identify qualified professionals passionate about improving communication and swallowing abilities across various age groups. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech and language therapy, with experience working with pediatric and adult populations, including those with speech impairments and disabilities. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess communication disorders in diverse patient populations. Provide direct therapy services via in-person sessions or telehealth platforms, ensuring continuity of care. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to optimize patient outcomes. Engage with patients' families or caregivers to educate them on therapy goals, progress, and home practice techniques. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Stay current with advancements in physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and evidence-based practices related to speech-language pathology. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (e.g., ASHA CCC-SLP). Experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention services and school-based settings. Knowledge of speech therapy techniques for individuals with speech impairments and disabilities across age groups. Familiarity with comprehensive speech and language evaluations and treatment plan implementation. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems and understanding of medical terminology. Experience working with telehealth therapy platforms is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills for parent collaboration and team-based care delivery. Background knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech-language pathology.
