Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Diagnostician to support a school setting in Milton, FL, from April 22nd to May 28th on a contract basis. This role focuses primarily on early childhood (Child Find PK) evaluations with some responsibilities involving school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments primarily for pre-kindergarten children and some school-aged students. Collaborate with educational staff to identify children in need of speech-language services. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on diagnostic findings. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' communication goals.Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as a Speech-Language Pathologist and relevant school-based licensure. Minimum of three years of experience working in school settings as an SLP. Proficient in conducting pediatric speech and language evaluations across early childhood and school-age populations. Strong understanding of school-based speech-language pathology protocols and child find procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.Location:
