Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential speech-language services in a dynamic school environment near Newberry, FL. This position supports students with diverse communication needs while collaborating with educators and caregivers committed to student growth.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of students presenting with speech and language difficulties Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to specific communication goals Leading engaging therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and related challenges Documenting student progress accurately and maintaining detailed records Working closely with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to foster holistic student support Offering guidance, training, and encouragement to families throughout the therapy process Preferred background and qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (required) Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Experience working with children and young adults in educational settings is a plus Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team To be eligible, candidates must hold an active license granted by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology and have secured, or be in the process of obtaining, a Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
